Earth Day 2026 | Turning climate awareness into action

To mark Earth Day 2026, Spiecapag’s Green Team organised a Climate Fresk workshop, bringing together representatives from all our departments for an engaging session focused on understanding climate change and driving collective action.

A science-based, collaborative experience

Over the course of three interactive hours, participants explored the fundamentals of climate science through the Climate Fresk methodology, a globally recognised workshop based on findings from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC).

Working in groups, participants:

  • Developed a deeper understanding of the scientific drivers of climate change
  • Explored the cause-and-effect relationships shaping the climate system
  • Reflected on the impacts already being observed worldwide
  • Identified practical solutions and actions that can be taken both individually and collectively

The workshop’s hands-on format encouraged open discussion, collaboration, and shared learning – helping transform complex scientific concepts into clear, actionable insights.

From awareness to action

By connecting science to real-world implications, the session fostered meaningful conversations around the role each individual and organisation can play in addressing climate change.

Initiatives like the Climate Fresk are part of a broader effort to embed sustainability into everyday thinking and decision-making, reinforcing the idea that effective climate action starts with awareness, engagement, and collaboration.

The session was facilitated by Fanny de Busserolles (PhD, CEnvP) from People For Nature, whose support helped create a dynamic and impactful experience.
