JANSZ-IO team reaches significant milestone!

Congrats to our Jansz-Io team on Barrow Island (WA) who achieved a significant milestone! After several months of planning (and 3 cyclone alerts!), the team finalised the installation of 560m of DN630 HDPE casing which enabled the successful pull-in of the offshore umbilical with assistance from Spiecapag. This was the first of three shore approaches for Chevron Australia.

As Principal Contractor, Spiecapag has been heavily involved in the design engineering, construction engineering, procurement and all construction phases. It included the managing of the civil subcontractor, as well as the interfacing with offshore marine HDD support, and offshore marine cable installation teams.
