Spiecapag announces new employee benefits: Group Life Insurance

As part of our ongoing commitment to enhancing our employees experience, Spiecapag is rolling out a new employee benefit: Group Life Insurance. This policy is designed to provide financial protection and peace of mind for you and your loved ones in the event of unforeseen circumstances.

This reflects our commitment to improving working conditions and benefits to support our people. As part of the Global VINCI Group, we offer all our employees minimum guarantees in two core areas of social protection: life insurance and parenthood (paid parental leave announced earlier this year). We believe that these VINCI Group Social Protections reflect our values of Team Spirit, caring for our people, and that for our Team, we are truly Building Better Together, in the moments that matter.

Key Benefits:

  • Death Benefit: Provides a lump sum payment to your beneficiaries in the event of your death, ensuring financial support for your family during a difficult time.
  • Terminal Illness Benefit: Offers an advance payment of the death benefit if you are diagnosed with a terminal illness expected to result in death within 12 months, helping to alleviate financial stress during a challenging period.
  • Total and Permanent Disability (TPD) Benefit: Provides financial support if you become totally and permanently disabled and are unable to work, helping you manage your financial obligations and maintain your quality of life.

All employees, including Permanent, Contracted (meaning fixed-term contracted direct hire employees), and Casual Employees, are eligible for coverage under this policy. To qualify, you must be Australian citizen or resident, or hold a valid visa to work in Australia, and be between the ages of 15 and 69. Coverage begins immediately upon commencement of employment, with no need to complete an application form!
