Spiecapag's RAP Artwork Revealed at 2025 Information Day

Spiecapag was delighted to unveil the commissioned artwork that will illustrate our official Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) document at the 2025 Information Day, held at Sofitel Brisbane Central on 18 December.

The unveiling was led by the commissioned artist, Ben Barker, a proud Biripi and Dunghutti First Nations artist based in Meanjin (Brisbane). The moment marked an important milestone in Spiecapag’s reconciliation journey.

During the reveal, Ben shared the story behind the artwork, explaining the symbolism of the shapes and motifs woven throughout the design. Each element represents key themes of the Reflect RAP – reconciliation, respect, relationships, and opportunities – as well as our company and staff members working together to enable flows of energy and resources across country. The digital artwork reflects both traditional art practice and contemporary technology, connecting tradition and modern time.

The artwork will feature across our RAP document, cultural protocol materials, intranet Reconciliation page, and selected site applications.
