• The Power of Synergies

Build, Better, Together!

With over 1,300 companies and 117,000 employees in over 100 countries, VINCI Construction’s capabilities span every aspect of building and civil engineering – from major transport and infrastructure projects to complex structures and specialised works. The combined strength of VINCI Construction’s businesses creates powerful synergies, giving clients access to an unmatched breadth of expertise, innovation, and technical know-how, supported by a global network of talent.

In Oceania, around 20 VINCI subsidiaries operate in the construction and energy sectors, frequently collaborating through joint ventures or strategic partnerships to deliver integrated, high-performance solutions.

In recent years, the MOSA Joint Venture, formed by Spiecapag and Menard Oceania, combined world-class pipeline and ground improvement expertise to deliver the Lihir Ground Stabilisation Project, a first-of-a-kind, and highly technical project executed in one of the world’s most challenging environments.

Similarly, Spiecapag, HDI Lucas, and Seymour Whyte joined forces to deliver the Mardi to Warnervale Pipeline Water Project, combining pipeline expertise, advanced HDD capabilities and extensive experience in civil works (roadworks including brownfield conditions), subcontractor management, and traffic control.

Strengthening collaboration through VINCI Pivot Clubs

Beyond project‑based joint ventures and partnerships, collaboration across VINCI subsidiaries in Oceania is actively fostered through the VINCI Pivot Clubs — a series of regional working groups that bring leaders and technical experts together throughout the year.

These Clubs provide a structured forum to share capabilities, exchange best practices, and explore synergies across disciplines such as Health & Safety, Legal & Commercial, Business Development and technical innovation. Regular meetings across Australia and New Zealand enable teams to learn from one another, identify opportunities for cooperation, and collectively lift standards across the Group.

By encouraging open dialogue, shared learning and entrepreneurial thinking, the Pivot Clubs play a key role in turning the strength of the VINCI network into real‑world value — supporting integrated project delivery, strengthening relationships between businesses, and reinforcing our shared ambition to build, better, together.
